
Asli Osman is an advocate with over nine years’ experience in dispute resolution. She has extensive experience litigating business disputes that involve complex legal issues often assisting clients navigate litigation in a strategic, cost effective and efficient manner. Her clients span a number of industries, including the financial services, real-estate developers, oil and gas, and insurance sectors.
Ms. Asli has enriched her experience in the arena of dispute resolution by acting for and advising both local and international clients. She has a broad range of experience litigating complex, high-value commercial disputes ranging from banking, insolvency-related litigation, shareholder disputes, procurement law amongst other. She also has immense experience in litigation of land disputes.
Over the years she has gained in depth knowledge over the technical aspects of land allocation, survey and processing that has helped her clients navigate the often-challenging terrain of land ownership in Kenya. She represents clients at the various levels of courts in Kenya such as the Court of Appeal, High Court, Environment & Land Court, Employment & Labour Relations Court as well as Quasi-Judicial Tribunals such as the Capital markets Tribunal, Tax Appeals Tribunal and the National Environment Tribunal.
Asli also regularly advises clients through the early stages of potential disputes in search of practical outcomes minimizing risk and exposure to litigation. She is highly regarded by clients for her practical and business-conscious approach to giving legal advice.
Aside from her active role in the dispute resolution department, Ms. Asli is also the Managing Partner of the Firm, a position she has held since March 2017.
